Meet Jen, one of the friendly faces at the Elevate Aviation Learning Centre. She joined the team in April 2023, bringing a mix of calm, curiosity, and a knack for keeping things running smoothly. Known for her eye for detail and thoughtful approach, Jen makes sure nothing slips through the cracks—whether it’s managing schedules or supporting the day-to-day operations that keep the Learning Centre thriving.

Her career journey has taken her from working as a medical laboratory technologist to office administration, proving she’s just as comfortable with spreadsheets as she once was with test tubes.

While her professional background isn’t rooted in aviation, Jen has had a lifelong connection to the industry. It’s played a big part in her family’s story, taking them across Canada—from B.C. and Alberta to Ottawa and back again—each move adding a new chapter to their adventure.

Outside of work, Jen’s all about balance. She loves getting outside to kayak or garden, curling up with a good true crime documentary, or experimenting in the kitchen.  One of her most memorable adventures? Visiting her parents’ birthplaces in the Netherlands—a trip that holds a special place in her heart.
