What is Beyond the Binary
Beyond the Binary has four distinct offerings:
Beyond the Binary 101: Resume Basics
This workshop explores the basics of creating a resume, including the use of pronouns, how to address deadnames, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and navigating job postings.
Beyond the Binary 102: Resumes, Cover Letters & More
This workshop focuses on crafting a strong, professional resume that highlights your skills, experience, and strengths while navigating the unique challenges 2SLGBTQIA+ job seekers may face.
Beyond the Binary 103: Interview Readiness
(In Development) – This is a workshop designed to help 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals navigate job interviews with confidence.
Beyond the Binary Career Coaching
Beyond the Binary Career Coaching is offered for a $50/30 minute session and provides you with a personalized, affirming career coaching session to help 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals navigate career choices, workplace and transitions with confidence and authenticity.

This workshop strives to create a safe space for complex discussions about job searching for 2SLGBTQIA+ community members. Everyone, regardless of identity, is welcome to attend.
- Beyond the Binary 101 is offered at $10/person
- Beyond the Binary 102 workshop only is offered for $30/person or BTB 102 with workshop and career coaching is $50/Person which includes a 30 minute one on one career coaching session with a Certified Career Development Professional who belongs to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community
- Beyond the Binary Career Coaching is offered for a $50/30 minute session and provides you with a personalized, affirming career coaching session to help 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals navigate career choices, workplace and transitions with confidence and authenticity.

No! Whether you’re starting from scratch or refining an existing resume, this workshop will provide helpful tips and templates.
Absolutely, we work with you to customize your resume based off of the skills and accomplishments that you have, regardless of whether that includes work experience or not.
For Resume 101 we can accommodate up to 25 individuals, in Resume 102 we work with smaller groups of 12. If you are interested in a session for a group, reach out and we can make arrangements that work for you
Depending on the workshop package, you may have access to a one-on-one career coaching session for personalized guidance
