Become Certified to Communicate on Aeronautical Radio Frequencies

The Restricted Operator Certificate – Aeronautical (ROC-A) is required for individuals who operate aeronautical radio equipment in Canada. Whether you are beginning an aviation career, working in the industry, or preparing for your next opportunity, Elevate Aviation offers a convenient and professional pathway to certification.

Our ROC-A Certification service is delivered by Transport Canada-approved examiners and is available by appointment, with both in-person and virtual options available (where permitted by Transport Canada requirements).

Who Is This For?

ROC-A certification is beneficial for individuals working in or pursuing careers such as:

  • Airport Operations
  • Customer Service Agents
  • Ground Handlers
  • Flight Dispatchers
  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineers
  • RPAS (Drone) Operators
  • Pilots
  • Aviation Students
  • Airport Contractors
  • Emergency Services

If your role requires the use of aeronautical radio communications, a ROC-A certificate may be required by your employer or training institution.
