Janelle Boodram

Student Services Coordinator and WEST Assessment Advisor

Janelle has roots in both Holland and Trinidad and Tobago. Her late mother’s family is from Holland and her dad was born in Trinidad and Tobago. Janelle proudly holds dual Caribbean/Canadian citizenship. She was born in Edmonton and began her working journey at 14, starting as a restaurant hostess and swiftly climbing the hospitality ladder. All of this hands-on experience gave her the opportunity to manage multiple international coffee company stores.

These roles honed her exceptional customer service skills which she is happy to share with students embarking on their aviation careers. Fluent in both English and French, Janelle strives to ensure that every student can fly high in their academic and personal endeavours. Outside of work, she enjoys swimming, hot yoga, seeking out diverse dining experiences and pampering her beloved chihuahua, Luna!
